Naming For a Girl
If the baby is a girl, she is given her Hebrew name at the conclusion of an aliyah anytime the Torah is read. The Jewish parents are called up to the Torah to recite the blessings.

Bris For a Boy
If the baby is a boy, he is given his Hebrew name as part of the Brit Milah (“Bris”) ceremony.
