Bar or Bat Mitzvah

The Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies mark the occasion of a young person becoming a full participant in the Jewish community.

Students prepare through continuous and regular study in the Religious School and at the appropriate time, Torah and Haftarah reading skills are added to the curriculum.

Each student is encouraged to take part in the services to the best of his or her ability. Students are also asked to prepare a mitzvah project that reflects their personal Jewish values.
